This high-spectation house was the first one we designed and built for the Villas del Sol development. The experience was so enjoyable that the developer insisted on naming it "Casa Mela," celebrating the love and dedication that our co-founder, Melania Castillo, put into this project.

Like the "Beach House," this project had to be designed on a property with challenging setback conditions and legal restrictions, as well as setbacks due to the creek at the rear of the property. Therefore, we had to optimize the use of spaces where each contour line is adjusted to the setback lines, to the extent that we even considered in an initial design to build the pool inside the house in the social area.

In terms of construction, we have foundations with a floating concrete slab due to the high water table and a wall system with a welded structural frame and closure of a lightweight system made of densglass sheets with R11 thermal insulation inside the walls.
