This was the first house in Villas del Sol that we built for a direct client and not as a house for sale.

It was a young couple anticipating their retirement home in Costa Rica, but while waiting for the time to make it their residence, they wanted the same house to generate some rental income through Airbnb.

Although the properties in the roundabout at the back of the development presented a small design challenge due to their smaller size, pizza slice shape, and being affected by the creek’s setback, no difficulty prevented us from delivering another successful project.

Apart from a very pleasant & functional floor plan, with a kitchen area leading to a pool terrace that includes a BBQ area, what perhaps stands out or is most charming about this house is its bathrooms design. Spacious showers with an integrated garden area featuring specimens of "monstera deliciosa" and other tropical plants under skylights of cellular polycarbonate with UV protection that let you feel the warmth of the sun, make shower time a comforting tropical experience.
